About me
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT NOVA), Portugal, and a member of the research center NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics (NOVA LINCS), working in the Knowledge-Based Systems group.
My current main research interests are within the area of Artificial Intelligence, more specifically on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Logic Programming and Non-Monotonic Reasoning.
Recently, my focus has been on the problem of combining heterogeneous sources of knowledge and streams of information, and also on the problem of forgetting in Answer Set Programming.
