David Carral

David Carral is an early PhD student at Kno.e.sis Center in Wright State University, Ohio USA. He works under the supervision of Dr. Pascal Hitzler in the area of description logics, rules and the use of semantic web technologies in the geoscience field. David attended ESWC 2012 where he presented both publications "Extending Description Logic Rules,” a conference paper in the reasoning track, and "Integrating OWL and Rules: A Syntax Proposal for Nominal Schemas" in the OWLED workshop. He also gave an invited talk at GeoVoCamp Dayton 2012, for a general audience.
